RENARD'S CHEESE

A Family Tradition...

Renard's Cheese was established by Howard Renard. He started making cheese at the age of 14. In fall of 1961, he bought Rosewood Dairy and the family tradition of Renard's Cheese began.

Howard and his wife, Angela, have seven children. All have had their turn working for Mom and Dad. In 1966, their son Gary purchased Cloverleaf Dairy . Gary

operated this factory until 1975 when Howard and Gary went into a partnership. Cloverleaf Dairy was turned into a retail store. In 1976, a new retail store was built at the Rosewood Dairy location.

Howard's son, Brian, has worked at Rosewood his whole life. In 1994, Gary and Brian went into partnership with Howard "retiring." Though Howard is retired, he is still at the factory everyday and is responsible for most of the selling.

In 1995, Gary's son Chris joined the family business and started the third generation of Renard cheesemakers.
